Lecture: Totgeschlagen, Totgeschwiegen –  The Homosexual Victims of Nazism.

Michał Budryk is a researcher and activist. The lecture takes a historical perspective on the social and legal situation of LGBTQ people in Europe before Nazism, with a focus on Germany at the turn of the century.

What links can be made to the Nazi worldview and a selection of today’s political developments among far-right forces? What can we learn from the history of contemporary anti-rights movements, and why is it so difficult to discuss neo-Nazism?”
